Red Eye: Weiner Pic Released, The Crowd Rejoices (And Then Vomits)

Just two days after Andrew Breitbart – in perhaps the most surreal press conference ever – opened for Anthony Weiner’s tearful apology, the pic Breitbart swore he would never release has been, well, released.
According to “Red Eye” host, Greg Gutfeld, Mr. Breitbart had the x-rated photo (which most resembled a baby vulture with one eye) on his BlackBerry and had been showing it to close friends over drinks the night before appearing on the Opie and Anthony Show – a morning talk radio show.
The show’s hosts asked to see the photo and Breitbart passed the phone around. Unfortunately, the studio contained multiple cameras, and the show’s crew caught a still of Breitbart’s BlackBerry and – therefore – the disgraced congressman’s house member.
Naturally, knowing Breitbart had no intention of releasing the photo, Opie and Anthony took care of that for him, tweeting a link for all to see. Now, the pic is viral (and possibly bacterial as well.)
Breitbart was livid, but a mostly unapologetic Anthony (Cumia) appeared on tonight’s “Red Eye” to underline the fact Breitbart had nothing to do with the pic’s release. He also stated Opie and Anthony aren’t known for their highbrow journalism, and “when you take a chunk of meat into a lion’s den, someone’s going to take a bite.”
First time guest, Thaddeus Russell made the point that only in puritanical America can one be found guilty in a sex scandal where there was no actual sex. Oddly, he’s just written a book about how America was founded by drunks and hos, so his claim we’re all puritans is somewhat amusing. Not to mention a total failure to understand it was more the lies, the coverups and the egotistical condescending tone Weiner employed while poo-pooing his potential guilt that enrages America. The pics are just a really gross icing on the cake of our dismay.
Oh, yeah. Did you know Weiner’s wife of just about one year is expecting their first child?
That poor kid. When he’s 18 and asks his parents what life was like when he was born, what can they possibly say? “Head to the Library of Congress, kid. Cross reference Capitol Hill, Seattle Time and Your Dad’s Junk.”
Needless to say, probably this whole week is going to be dedicated to Weiner, at least as far as “Red Eye” is concerned. Oh, sure. They’re covering other stories too. But really, who can get past the squick of this one?
What a good time to come back!
(N.B. – out of respect for the entire Internet, this post contains no pictures. At all.)

The views in this post are entirely my own (except where I’m quoting.) Neither “Red Eye” nor Fox News endorse or support my “Red Eye” posts. I am not affiliated with the show in any way, other than being an avid fan.

I appreciate that Cumia appeared on Red Eye & told it like it was–the truth. Something Weiner couldn't seem to muster the strength to do from the damn start. All of this is his fault, and if I see one more tweet or message saying "blame Breitbart" or anyone else, I will scream! The lunacy of the far-left on this matter has been even more nauseating than usual, I have found.
Great show tonight, and WELCOME BACK!
